They are typically very affectionate, loyal and social dogs. Shugs make great family pets and generally do very well around children. The Shug's nose is very prominent and black in color. A Shug's eyes are dark brown in color. The body of a Shug typically has an average to square build. The forelegs of the Shug are muscular and straight. The rear legs of the Shug are slightly angled and very muscular. The coat of a Shug may have a range of colors including black, gray, fawn or orange.
